Common FAQ’s

We know some of you have lots of questions, and our New Client Specialists are ready to talk with you. Reach out online or give us a call at (704) 552-0116.

When can I get started?

We know it takes courage to reach out for help, and we will do our best to get you started quickly. Generally, the more flexible you are about time, the sooner we can get you scheduled.
Our New Client Specialists are skilled in connecting you with therapists and psychologists who are experts in meeting specific needs. Just let us know what’s going on, and we’ll match you with someone who can help you live a more meaningful life. Many of our clinicians offer a 15-minute meet and greet where you can get a sense of their personality and style with no cost or commitment.
Just answer a few questions about your situation, and we’ll match you with someone who can address your concerns and help you reach your goals.
We see people in various stages of life. We work with young children, school-age kids, teens, young adults, adults, couples, and families. We see people who have emotional or behavioral struggles. We also see people who want to be peak performers in school, business, or sports.
Therapy sessions are generally 45–50 minutes long, but each clinician determines the length of sessions based on your needs. Testing is usually scheduled in one-hour increments. When a lot of testing is needed, we offer two- or three-hour blocks for your convenience.

We are out-of-network with all insurance companies, but that doesn’t mean your insurance won’t cover some of your expenses. We will gladly file claims for you, and you will receive reimbursement based on your out-of-network benefits for mental health services. Simply stated, we ask you to pay for services when you receive them, we’ll file a claim with your insurance company, and they’ll send you a refund for whatever amount they cover.

All our clinicians set their own fees, so we’ll share this information as soon as we connect you with one. The initial appointment averages between $150 and $260, and follow-up sessions average between $150 and $225. If money is a concern, let us know, and our New Client Specialists can help you explore options.

A psychologist will meet with you to understand your situation and determine what type of testing will best serve your needs. This initial consultation costs $250. Any recommended testing is done by a licensed psychologist and costs $350 per hour. Once testing is completed, you meet for a feedback session (also $250) to review results and learn how these insights can help you reach your goals.

Admissions testing fees vary depending on each school’s requirements. We also want you to be aware that insurance may not cover testing that they consider educational.

We would be glad to work with your doctor or to help you connect with a medication professional, should you need medication.

You can connect with your therapist for a session from any state in which they are licensed using a convenient and secure teletherapy platform.
