Marie is a dedicated and experienced mental health professional with over a decade of providing high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, adolescents, and couples. She works with clients of a wide variety of backgrounds and has gained invaluable insights into the unique challenges faced by service members, veterans, first responders, and their families after her 24 years of dedicated service in the U.S. Navy.
Her client-centered approach is tailored to meet each individual’s needs, fostering a safe and supportive environment for healing and growth. Marie has extensive experience in trauma-focused care, specifically working with individuals struggling with PTSD and emotional distress.
Additionally, Marie conducts risk assessments and utilizes screenings such as the PHQ-9 and GAD-7 to monitor mental health needs and inform treatment planning. She also incorporates Problem-Solving Therapy (PST) to help clients develop effective coping strategies for life’s challenges.
Beyond therapy, Marie offers parenting classes designed to equip caregivers with tools that strengthen parent-child relationships, manage behavioral challenges, and support their children’s emotional well-being.
