Anslow

Dr. Anslow received his Doctorate of Clinical Psychology from George Washington University and his BA in Psychology from the University of Virginia . He completed his undergraduate internship at a community mental health agency in New York City and his graduate internship in San Diego, CA working with members of the San Diego police department as well as their dependents.

Dr. Anslow also has experience serving a variety of populations including adults, adolescents, and children. He incorporates play therapy with young children which is combined with parental education about developmental issues. Dr. Anslow conducts group therapy with adults and elderly adults.

Special issues he serves include depression (including low self-esteem, lack of motivation, enduring feelings of sadness), anxiety (generalized and specific), a history of acute or chronic trauma, intimacy and relational concerns, identity issues, behavioral problems (such as acting out and oppositional defiance), ADD/ADHD, substance abuse, and stifled creativity or lack of inspiration. Dr. Anslow strives to be open-minded and welcomes clients of all ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, and religious and/or political affiliations.
