Jonathan Anslow serves adults and  adolescents  Special interests include depression, anxiety, intimacy and relational concerns, identity issues, and substance abuse.  His relational and practical approach is very welcoming.Tracy Barcott completed her internship at the Yale Child Study Center and specializes in neuro-developmental evaluations and works especially well with very young children.  She enjoys teens as well and is excellent at getting kids to open up and share. She is fun and super smart!  

Jessica Bloomfield serves clients of all ages using individual, family, and group therapy.  Trauma, depression, anxiety, abuse, self-harm behaviors, emotional and behavioral disorders, diversity issues, and relationship difficulties are among her specialties.  She has extensive training in trauma-based treatments including EMDR and conducts ADHD, learning disability, and diagnostic evaluations.

Jonathan Feather serves older adolescents and adults, individuals and couples, and treats depression, anxiety, stress, adjustment to medical conditions, sexual dysfunction, and spiritual issues.  Dr. Feather enjoys integrating people's faith with the work of psychotherapy.

Frank Gaskill specializes in Aspergers as well as behavioral difficulties.  He works with children and adolescents using a family based approach.  He also serves as a member of the private schools admissions testing team (CAIS). Dr Gaskill provides a variety of services including trainings, therapy, and assessments and provides a practical, solution-focused approach. 

Bilal Ghandour has many years of experience working with teenagers and young adults with adjustment/phase of life issues, depression, anxiety, and how to deal successfully with romantic relationships. He serves couples and families who have parent-child issues. Body image, self-harm, and unhealthy eating habits are also areas of specialty.

Kyra Grosman  attended Brown University and obtained her M.A. in clinical psychology from the Wright Institute, in Berkeley, CA. Kyra spent the last few years providing outpatient substance abuse treatment and served with an organization dedicated to providing mental health services to LGBTQ people. She also provides neuro-developmental assessments through the Mind Matters Center and also provides on site assessments for more remote communities surrounding the greater Charlotte Metro area. 

Dwight Hollier adolescents and adults deal with life transitions and goal setting.  Dwight also helps professional and collegiate athletes as well as other professionals move from stagnation to productivity.  As a veteran of the Miami Dolphins, Dwight brings a level of validity to his clients who are seeking personal and professional success.

Trey Ishee provides psychotherapy to children, families and parents. His training, research, and practice have focused on ADHD, parenting, disruptive behavior disorders, anger management, and child and adolescent depression. Dr. Ishee is an advocate of a strengths based approach to treatment which emphasizes empowerment and problem solving.  He is also a member of the CAIS assessment team for independent schools.

 

 Josh Jensen has extensive experience helping those with developmental disabilities, Autism and Aspergers. Josh also enjoys working with couples, parents, children and adolescents through life transitions and difficulties. Josh also helps clients integrate spiritual concerns and faith within therapy. Lauren King  serves children, teens, and adults. Her specific areas of interest include eating issues, depression, anxiety, spiritual issues, trauma, learning problems, and autism spectrum disorders. Lauren loves helping individuals  capitalize on their strengths, and she is interested in integrating people’s faith into  therapy. Lauren also provides diagnostic assessments to assist with educational and therapeutic planning.Heidi Limbrunner sees adolescents, adults, and families with a wide variety of concerns.  She works with adolescents and women with issues such as depression, anxiety, self-harm (such as cutting), low self-esteem, trauma, and behavioral concerns.  She also specializes in the treatment of eating disorders. Jennifer McConnell works with young children and their families by being fun and exciting as well as nurturing in promoting their academic, social, and emotional success.  Jennifer also serves as a CAIS psychologist and provides assessments for kindergarten readiness. Amanda McGough serves children adolescents, adults. jer interests include depression, anxiety, self-harm, life transitions, and behavior problems.  Her approach is strengths-based, straight-forward, and supportive. Dr. McGough involves family members when appropriate to address family dynamics and to help parents.  She also has specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address difficulties with controlling emotions. 
Sara Marcus works with all ages and families. She is the founder of the animal assisted therapy program, HorseSpeak. She provides a fun approach to therapy and enjoys incorporating family work and parenting strategies into treatment. She welcomes parent  involvement in the care of her clients.Mary B. Moore specializes in childhood development, Aspergers, parenting strategies, and offers school readiness skills and placement assessments for children 3-10. Mary B. is also the Co-founder and Chair of the Epiphany School in Charlotte, NC.   Mary B. integrates fun and excitement into her sessions and, being a mother of 3 boys, understands the demands of being a mom, friend, wife, and entrepreneur. 

Barrie Morganstein

Dr. Morganstein is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and is provides services to hearing, deaf, and hard-of-hearing individuals of all ages. She provide therapy and testing for clients of all ages and serves those struggling with depression, anxiety, parenting & family issues, behavioral problems, ADHD &  Central Auditory Processing Disorder. 

  

 

Nyaka NiiLampti works with clients of all ages, through individual and group therapy. Her focus is on multicultural and cross cultural issues in psychology as well as sports psychology. Anxiety, depression, diversity issues, relationships and performance enhancement are also among her specialties.Craig Pohlman directs Mind Matters Southeast Psych. Craig has conducted or supervised thousands of assessments of struggling learners.  His latest book, How Can My Kid Succeed in School?, helps parents and educators to better understand the learning needs of children and adolescents and to select strategies for success.
Nick Valadez, Nick has two Master's degrees, one in counseling and the other in leadership.  Nick works with children, adolescents, and young adults. He serves clients through groups, individual work, and assessment.  Leadership and pastoral care is a core focus of his practice.David Verhaagen works primarily with high school and college-age students. His specialties include: anger problems, anxiety behavior problems, depression, drug and alcohol problems, school and learning-related problems (including ADHD), and trauma (accidents, abuse, violence, etc.). He has authored many books including Parenting the Millenial Generation.

Lynn Vivian has worked in private practice settings for over 20 years.  She provides evaluation and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults.  Dr. Vivian enjoys an active family and church life with her husband of 21 years and has two teenage children. 

Heather West enjoys working with children, adolescents, and their families to help them identify strengths.  She uses cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, family systems, and play therapy techniques to encourage health and well-being.  Dr. West specializes in treating anxiety disorders in children and strives to involve parents in treatment planning and direction. 

Molly Wittig Molly Murphy Wittig enjoys working with children of all ages, but specializes in young children.  Her concentrations include early child development, developmental delays, aspergers, behavior management, ADHD, anxiety, and assessment.  Dr. Wittig also serves as a member of Charlotte Area Independent Schools (CAIS).
