The Assessment Center

Southeast Psychological Services strives to be a national leader in providing innovative therapeutic, educational, and consulting services.  In keeping with that mission, one of the primary services that our organization offers is assessment of individual differences.  The Assessment Center is a department within Southeast that performs evaluations in a systematic and comprehensive manner. 

While Southeast boasts a strong roster of skilled clinicians who are trained to perform a wide-range of assessments and evaluations in their individual practices, the Assessment Center currently offers only three specific kinds of evaluations: 

1. ADHD/LD — these assessments focus on determining if an individual has Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or a learning disability.  Children, adolescents, and adults are eligible for these evaluations.

2. Academic Excellence — these assessments are conducted to help high-achieving students understand their learning styles and study more efficiently.  These evaluations are not intended for individuals who are having academic struggles.  Currently, only middle school, high school and college students are eligible for these evaluations.

3. AS/HFA — these assessments are intended to determine if an individual has Asperger’s Syndrome (Disorder) or High Functioning Autism.  Children, adolescents, and adults are eligible for these evaluations.
